By providing fair, affordable capital, CDFIs create jobs and opportunity in underinvested low- to middle-income communities, that mainstream finance considers too risky or not profitable enough to lend to.

The KC CDFI Coalition is a partnership of regional Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) that work together to provide accessible capital and resources to communities across the Kansas City Metro.
Together, Coalition members promote the vital services CDFIs bring to communities and demonstrate how we raise awareness of persistent issues that stand between our low- to middle-income communities and equitable economic growth.
